A 7% fall extends the decline
The Register reported a 7% fall in UK visa applications from overseas tech workers. The figure was presented alongside concerns about shortages of specialist skills.
Applications had reportedly already declined for two consecutive years.
They reportedly fell another 7%, extending the decline to a third year.
The reported 7% fall forms part of a three-year decline. That sequence provides more context for the movement of tech talent than a single annual change.
