Virgin Media reportedly closes remaining email accounts
Virgin Media is reportedly closing its remaining email service and giving users 45 days to choose what to do. They can transfer to Junara, save their data and move elsewhere, or allow the account to close.

Four address domains covered by the transfer
The reported change covers addresses ending in @ntlworld.com, @blueyonder.co.uk, @virgin.net, and @virginmedia.com. Customers who want to retain their address can reportedly move their mailbox to Junara, an Atmail-operated service; the first year is described as free for current Virgin Media customers, followed by a charge to continue.
Virgin Media reportedly operated the remaining email accounts using its own service.
An option to retain an existing address
The company is reportedly closing those accounts and offering a transfer to Junara, while allowing users to move elsewhere or let accounts close.
Email addresses often serve as recovery and contact points across other services. A 45-day migration window could require affected users to preserve messages, update accounts, or choose whether to pay for continued use of an existing address.
