Over 119,000 domains tied to reported DoppelCart fake-shop network
A report describes DoppelCart as a fake-shop network of more than 119,000 domains that is designed to collect payment-card details.

Checkout pages impersonating legitimate brands
The report says the sites imitate legitimate brands with copied catalogs, descriptions, branding, and images. It says checkout code on tested sites collected payment-card and cardholder information and could relay bank-issued one-time confirmation codes.
The report compares DoppelCart with BogusBazaar, a previously documented fake-shop network of 75,000 sites.
DoppelCart has been described as a larger fake-shop cluster, spanning more than 119,000 domains; the report says over 105,000 of those shops remain active.
More than 105,000 shops reportedly still active
The report gives both an overall domain count and a claim that over 105,000 shops remain active. Its description of card-data collection and confirmation-code relaying makes checkout behavior as well as scale central to the account.
