NightmareStresser domains reportedly seized
Domains used by the alleged DDoS-for-hire platform NightmareStresser were reportedly seized by the FBI. They now display law-enforcement seizure notices in place of the service.

Service domains replaced by seizure notices
BleepingComputer reported that the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation seized domains used by NightmareStresser, a DDoS-for-hire platform. DDoS, or distributed denial of service, is an attack that overwhelms an online service with traffic. The report says the seized domains now show a banner linking the action to Operation PowerOFF, an international law-enforcement effort targeting DDoS-for-hire infrastructure.
Before the reported action, nightmare-stresser[.]com and nightmarestresser[.]org presented NightmareStresser as an online DDoS-for-hire service.
The domains used by NightmareStresser have reportedly been seized by the FBI, replacing the service's presence with a seizure banner.
The reported action changes the availability of a platform that the FBI Cyber Division said had been used for hundreds of thousands of actual or attempted DDoS attacks since 2022. This claim remains unverified.
