Bentley reportedly unveils its first production battery-electric vehicle
Bentley has reportedly formally unveiled the Torcal as a production vehicle, shifting the marque from having no first production battery-electric model to presenting one publicly.

The production Torcal is formally unveiled
According to Ars Technica, Bentley formally unveiled the Torcal, which the report describes as the brand’s first battery-electric vehicle. The report says the standard model is rated at 810 hp and the Torcal S at 875 hp, while a US EPA range estimate is still expected closer to the US sale date.
Bentley had not previously presented a production battery-electric vehicle as its first such model.
The Torcal has reportedly moved from a camouflaged vehicle shown to journalists to a formally unveiled production car, described as Bentley’s first battery-electric vehicle.
The US EPA range estimate is still pending
If accurate, the unveiling marks Bentley’s entry into production battery-electric vehicles. The report also outlines how the company is presenting an electric model alongside performance, ride, and charging specifications familiar to luxury-car buyers.
