Raven reportedly adds interior-photo searches for specific homes
Graylark Technologies’ Raven tool can now reportedly use an interior photo to identify a specific property from short-term-rental and real-estate imagery, a capability demonstrated with a Charlotte Airbnb listing.

A demonstration matching a washer photo to a property listing
404 Media reported that Graylark CEO Daniel Heinen announced Raven’s ability to geolocate interior images across millions of short-term rental units. In a demonstration described by the outlet, a photo of a washer/dryer was submitted to Raven and matched to a specific Airbnb listing in Charlotte, North Carolina.
According to 404 Media, Raven—previously called GeoSpy—was already available to some law-enforcement agencies, including the Los Angeles Police Department and the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.
404 Media reports that Graylark Technologies added an interior-image geolocation feature to Raven, extending the tool’s described property-search capability to photos taken inside homes.
Interior details as clues to a specific location
Interior photos from rental and real-estate listings can contain distinctive details. If the reported capability works as described, it gives law-enforcement users a way to connect such images to particular properties.
