Something’s off.A report says Ubuntu 26.10 was released with Linux kernel 7.3 while that kernel was still at release-candidate 7 rather than officially complete. The reported plan is for installed machines to receive the finished 7.3 version once it becomes available.
That creates the odd mismatch: a finished operating-system release reportedly arrived carrying a kernel that was itself still pre-release. The same report says Ubuntu’s new Myna speech-to-text feature is included as a technology preview; it reportedly improved with a USB headset but entered spoken punctuation and editing commands as ordinary text.
